About me
Jodi Ide is a Teacher Specialist for Canyons School District in Sandy, Utah, where she provides support to high school social studies teachers, instructional coaches, teachers and students in key areas such as digital citizenship, media literacy, news literacy, and debate. With 23 years of experience in education, Jodi has held a variety of roles throughout her career. She taught history at Brighton High School for 17 years, served as an instructional coach at Corner Canyon High School for three years, and is currently in her fourth year as a Teacher Specialist. Jodi is passionate about empowering both teachers and students with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of the digital world. She is especially focused on fostering critical thinking and helping students engage with media, information, and news in a meaningful and informed way.
