About me
Cassie Walker is an art educator with over 11 years of teaching experience. She currently works as a BTS Arts teacher in Canyons School District, where she has taught for the past nine years. Cassie has an MA in arts education and a BS in elementary education. Before her current role, she spent two years teaching 6th grade in Granite District. Cassie’s focus is on integrating the arts into other subjects to help students think creatively and build skills they can use in many areas of life. She is passionate about helping students express themselves through art and believes the arts are a key part of a well-rounded education. Her professional focus with her colleagues has centered on authentically integrating the visual and performing arts with classroom teachers.
