2025 Elevated Teaching Summit

I teach 7th Grade Utah Studies at Draper Park Middle School.  I've taught a number of the Social Studies subjects at public and charter schools in Utah and Colorado, as well as teaching World and US History survey courses at Pikes Peak Community College and BYU-Idaho.  I like reading, conducting historical research, cartooning & artwork, crossword puzzles, and binge-watching action-packed detective shows.  For the last 22 years I've been married to the lovely Jackie Ricks (the best Instructional Coach in CSD), and we have three awesome children.
