Being in SPED equals a ton of paperwork and administrative duties. What if you could utilize a variety of tools and tech hacks to be more efficient and focus more on student needs? As SLPs, we have been trying anything and everything under the sun to manage our workload, and we want to help everyone (SLP or not!) to save a few minutes or more each day. Example hacks will include Notability, Magical Text Expander, Google Sheets for caseload management, and MUCH MORE.
We will explore how fostering innovation and collaboration within individual classrooms can serve as the fertile ground for impactful, sustainable school-wide initiatives.
Lead from the Classroom: In this session, I will explain the Utah Roles of a Teacher Leader adopted by the USBE. Drawing from my experiences as a classroom teacher and a Utah Teacher Fellow, I will demonstrate how teachers, when empowered, can use their voices to advocate for positive changes in school culture, curriculum, and policy.
This session will introduce educators to Google Looker Studio as a powerful tool for visualizing and analyzing classroom data. Participants will learn how to create interactive dashboards that make information easy to understand for students, parents, and teachers. With the help of Looker Studio, teachers can encourage students to reflect on their data and set meaningful goals.
